Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her grandmother had lived in the streets for three years until she reached her age when she was taken into the care of a family member. Her adopted father, a Filipino-American with military background, has a white background and is American. The woman has said that she and her adopted brother she had were abused by their adoptive parents from when she was young until the time that she joined the army. The family lived with her aunt in San Francisco for several months before returning to Texas on her 13th birthday because of the necessity of her father to undergo bypass surgery. Though the physical violence stopped however, she claimed to have experienced psychological assault from her father at home. She joined at the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok profile in April 2020. In just eight months, she had more than forty million fans. Her most notable success came from the music video she created to promote MillieB's smash hit track Soph Aspin Send. The singer lip-synched and danced to the beat in a video that was zoomed out. Following her joining TikTok she started an account on YouTube as well as a Twitter account to take advantage of her popularity. Poarch's rising fame peaked in November 2020. According to reports, she drew the attention of two major professional Esports groups. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves expressed an interest to hire her as an author of content under their respective brands.
