Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and a singer. She is also co-starring in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain. Her most famous work is the lead in the 1984 Prince Purple Rain film and lead singer of the girl group Apollonia 6 Apollonia was christened as an actress and female singer by Prince. Through the 1980s she was among several other performers who gained from Prince. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica, California in 1959. Her career started as a model during the late 1970s. Kotero also made an appearance on CHiPS. In 1984, she was the role of the lead female in Prince's Purple Rain (during which time the singer switched her names) as well as replacing Vanity in the female trio Vanity 6 singing with them in the film with the title Apollonia 6.
