The Garena's Garena first league (GPL) began in the month of May. The GPL is a pro online gaming event that lasts for 6 months and features over 100 games. The GPL's inaugural season will be an on-line League of Legends tournament with six teams of professional players. These teams represent top players from their respective countries. GPL games as well as commentaries are broadcasted online. Viewers can watch GPL games and commentaries via the GPL website. In January 2013, Garena announced they would be launching Garena Premier League's season two will begin on January 4, 2013. Garena Premier League, 2013 will have two teams of Taiwan and Vietnam. The current total of eight teams has been up to nine. AHQ, Saigon Fantastic Five, Bangkok Titans, Kuala Lumpur Hunters, Manila Eagles, Taipei Assassins, and Singapore Sentinels are the teams. The Garena E-Sports Stadium, a venue for esports is a venue that was inaugurated in November of 2014 in the Neihu District of Taipei. The facility opened in November 2014 at the launch of the League of Legends Masters Series. The league is the world's premier LoL Taiwanese as well as Hong Kongese and Macau LoL League, which was created from the GPL. Garena launched with the Iron Solari League in January 2015. It's an League of Legends women's tournament located in the Philippines. It is played in the second month in every month. The event is meant to increase participation for people who aren't represented, and is for anyone who self-identifies as a female. Besides competitive tournaments, Garena also organizes events designed to allow members to meet and connect offline.
