
Teryl Rothery is a Canadian actress who has appeared on stage, television and film. Her most well-known role is portraying Janet Fraiser in the TV series Stargate SG-1. The actress was also the star of Cedar Cove's Grace Sherman, as well as playing prominent roles like Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring, in Arrow, and Celia Hudson, in Nancy Drew. Many TV shows have featured her. Rothery began dancing at the age of nine, and in 1995 looked upon her first dance lessons as the beginning of her career as an entertainer. The first of her professional performances as a performer were in the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13 and also in the Marpole Community Theatre's production of The Sound of Music at age 14. She was a dancer in The Irish Rovers variety TV series while a teenager] and appeared first on television when she was 18 years old with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation special for Halloween.
