RachelRachel Keller is a fictionalized character in The Ring movie series. The role of Rachel Keller as a fictional character in The Ring film series, was invented by Ehren Kr ger. The character is played by Naomi Watts. Rachel must investigate the life of Samara Morgan her son in The Ring Two. Ruth Rachel's sister asks Rachel to investigate the enigmatic reasons behind Katie's sudden demise. She tells Rachel that she discovered the body of her daughter's deformed corpse in the closet. She also informs Rachel that her official cause of death was due to a heart attack in spite of Katie being healthy and healthy for a teenager. Katie's friends tell Rachel about the myth behind the tape with the curse and the story of how Katie's friend Becca was confined to an institution following Katie's passing. Katie's boyfriend, along with two of her best acquaintances, also passed away in bizarre accidents that took place on the same night at 10:30 PM. Rachel is taken to Shelter Mountain Inn, where she is in Cabin 12. This cabin is the one where Katie and her friends stayed in when they saw the tape with the curse. Rachel is able to locate the tape and starts watching it, after which the phone rings. Rachel hears a voice utter "seven days". Rachel calls Noah Clay, her ex-boyfriend and a video analyst to seek help. Then, Rachel discovers that Aidan, her son with Noah had watched the tape as Noah calls her and tells him that he trusts her. Rachel examines the tape to locate the whereabouts of the lighthouse. It was located on Moesko Island. Anna Morgan was a horse breeder cursed, appeared on the tape. Rachel uncovers that Anna had an adoptive daughter, Samara. She was capable of creating terrifying images in the minds humans, animals and even objects. Rachel is introduced to Anna's widower Richard and he asks her leave as she begins to ask questions about Samara.
